And the winners are....

Thanks to everyone who entered my 2nd Blogiversary book draw! I used the random number generator at random.org to generate the winning numbers, and here are the results:

For Peace is Every Step, the winner is Kale for Sale! Congratulations! I know you will really, really enjoy this book. It is simple and profound at the same time, a real gem of a book.

For the 1992 edition of The Four Season Harvest, the winner is Apple Jack Creek! Congratulations! This is a really good book for people in more northern climes, and so I know you will certainly benefit from it.

Kale and AJC, please send me an email at {myriad dot things at yahoo dot ca} with your mailing information, and I will get these books out to you in the coming week.

To everyone who entered, and to all of you who come by to read and/or comment - I am humbled that you would spend even some of your valuable here. Many thanks :)

Yeah!!! Thank you. For the book and also for the lesson in nonattachment. Which I'm not sure I've learned as right now I doubt I'll ever give up this book given the spirit in which it arrived to me. But that could simply be the excitement of the gift. Thanks again.

Well how very very cool is that! :) That book has been on my 'definitely need this' list given our climate and my ummm lack of skill at season extension and less than stellar success with containers. Thanks so much!

Sending email!

It came, it came! It's an awesome book - you were right, this'll definitely be useful at our house!

And thanks for the awesome card, too. I didn't see it at first, and was very happily surprised to find it as I was reading on the couch and contemplating cold frame construction plans. :)

In another instance of synchronicity - the artist who did the watercolour on the card you sent was the Art teacher at my high school!

Isn't that neat about the card's artist! I had two cards picked out and that one seemed just right to send you with the book :) I'm so glad it arrived and that you have found it useful already :)
